🚀 Crafting My Own Solutions
---
I’m passionate about open-source software and self-hosting, building environments where I have full control over my tools and services.
Running game servers, fine-tuning infrastructure, or solving complex challenges, I thrive on customizing, optimizing, and maintaining everything myself.
Below are some highlights of the things I’ve built and the projects I’ve worked on.
---
I used Astro and Tailwind CSS to build a fast, lightweight, and modern website that’s easy to maintain.
Proxmox runs the core of my home lab, hosting most of my applications—including this site. Paired with TrueNAS, it forms a scalable, self-hosted platform.
With Mailcow, I self-host my email and maintain full control. Paired with SMTP2GO, outbound delivery is reliable and hassle-free.
I manage dedicated game servers with Crafty Controller for Minecraft and AzerothCore for World of Warcraft. This setup gives me full control over customization, performance tuning, and a seamless experience for players.

🚀 Refining & Maintaining
---
Technology isn’t just about building—it’s about making things better. I focus on performance tuning, troubleshooting, and long-term maintenance to keep my setups running smoothly.
---
With Proxmox as my virtual host, I rely on Proxmox Backup Server for automated backups. I’ve also scripted my update process with Bash and set up email notifications via Postfix, routing through SMTP2GO to my Mailcow server for easy review.
TrueNAS is the backbone of my storage setup, acting as a secure destination for backups and a key part of my 3-2-1 backup strategy. With ZFS for data integrity and redundancy, I ensure my critical data is always protected.
With Caddy as a reverse proxy on my VPS, I securely expose self-hosted services while leveraging CrowdSec & Fail2ban for threat detection. For private access, I rely on WireGuard, ensuring an encrypted VPN connection to my home network from anywhere.

My documentation portal serves as a single source of truth for my home environment, balancing public and private resources through controlled access.
A blog gives me space to share insights, challenges, and projects in a more personal way. It’s a place for deeper insights, lessons learned, and the occasional experiment.
